I'm a mostly self-taught, freelance artist who got a start at a very young age basically doodling on any surface I could and exploring turning objects on paper and in my head. That developed into a love of translating my thoughts and what I saw into a visual representation. Oh, the wondrous (not to mention insanely COOL) things that could be poured out of the mind with simple pencil and paper!
Now, I'm learning more everyday, cutting out what no longer works for me and embracing new things that, in my mind, improve my work.
If you can't put a finger on my style yet, it's because I'm still exploring different areas of art. I'm still trying to find a style and method I'm most comfortable with in each field of art I tackle. I daresay, I may not soon settle down with a particular style in any area because new ideas are exploding in my head every moment.
Currently, I'm working almost exclusively digitally, whether it's cartooning, painting, "penciling and inking", or along the lines of graphic design. I can do so, so much with just a few pieces of equipment- a graphics tablet, a computer, and the appropriate software.
One of my goals is to one day be able to self-publish (or work with a team publishing) various works featuring my art. Children's books, instructional books, comic books, graphic novels, games, web-toons (Oh, I'm excited just thinking about it ).
I very often find myself short on time to take on the really large personal projects I so desire to do. But I can always fall back on good old pencil and paper to keep the creative juices flowing.
If you think you can handle following my explorations in the various areas of art in general, I can be found around at places like Twitter, Pinterest, Zazzle, DeviantArt, Society6, and Tumblr.
